Program of education and research - working frame of VIMIO since year 2000.
In the beginning the base of educational programs were projects intended to teach about peaceful conflict resolution, partner life skills, social skills and other issues witch contributes better coexistence and overcoming conflicts in post war Vukovar.
Because of changing needs of ours users through the time, focus of our work moved its focus on additional education of teachers, masters and professors in work with specific pupils groups, education about prevention of addiction diseases and unacceptable behavior, supplemental education for unemployed persons and representatives of national minority.
Program of psychosocial support during 2000 and 2001 it had almost only educational character, users were persons who were working with different vulnerable groups (teachers and masters, social workers, members of nongovernmental associations which are giving different types of support).
Later on in our work we had faced the need for professional psychosocial support to a wide round of users, and that was the reason to form a Family Counseling Team. During its first year of existence our Counseling Team was consisted of doctor specialist psychiatrist, psychologist, pedagogue and teacher for children with special needs.
In 2004 we have started with the Counseling for Women, in 2005 Counseling for Parents who had children with special needs, and Counseling for Drug Addicts. In 2006 work of Counseling for children and youngsters with disarrangement behavior was approved.

For establishment of program work with youth one of the biggest impulses was goal of Vukovar Institute for Peace Research and Education for improving living conditions of children and youth in Vukovar in period after peace reintegration of Danube Region.
Already in a few following years with youth we are working creative workshops, project of maintenance of environments, camps and together friendships.
In cooperation with Center for Social Welfare in Vukovar in all ours projects we actively include juveniles with deferent easy delictes, thought that activity we support their resuscitation.
Work with youth during 2007 is organized through coeval support and empowerment of youth.
